undergraduate research journal

After doing some undergraduate sociology research in Florence, I became involved with the NCSU Undergraduate Research Office and started contributing to different projects. In 2008, I designed the summer Journal cover and prepared the files for print (no inside book design).

2009

View the 2009 Journal online! The cover was using the same concept and main image from the previous edition, but to follow the Women in Science and Engineering ("WISE") theme, I decided to soften the image with a watercolor swash that I scanned in. This year, I also designed the inside of the 111 page journal, working closely with the editor from start to finish.

2008

With the cover design, I wanted to demonstrate some of NC State's main research efforts in textiles, the humanities, and the sciences. The image was created using Illustrator and brought into InDesign for layout.
